The Tritons are so fortunate to have the support of Paige Park, Referee Extraordinaire, who helps us every year by giving us in-house training for officials.
This year, Paige will be offering the Level 2 Stroke and Turn Judge course on Thursday, May 30 at the JCC Pool (upstairs in the viewing area --- ask at the front desk to have the door to upstairs unlocked) If you would like to participate in this training, Paige has asked that you please review the on-line clinic prior to attending the clinic. If possible you can download the clinic to a portable device (laptop/tablet) and bring it to the clinic. ALSO, Please indicate your intention of attending on Team Snap. Thanks!!
To take this training, you must have completed the Level 1 Introduction to Swim Officiating Course. This training can be completed online. The Canmore Coho Swim Club will be offering a Stroke and Turn Clinic on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Elevation Place, Room 212 in Canmore. Lockie Lister will be the instructor once again this year.

South Regional Swim Alberta Clinics - Saturday May 4
Swim Alberta will be hosting their annual regional clinic day in Calgary on Saturday May 4th 2019.

COURSE MATERIALS: For all clinics, go to the Swim Canada website www.swimming.ca and click on “resources,” then “officiating,” and then “certification and clinics.” Click on “clinics and quizzes” and then on the clinic that you would like to take. Then read the document. Bring your tablet or laptop to use during the course. Please note that the PowerPoint document for the Stroke and Turns clinic is very large because there are videos embedded in it.
PARKING: Parking is available at the University in the Arts Parkade at 24 Avenue NW and University Gate NW. There is also parking in lots 10 and 13 that are accessible from 32 Avenue NW. There is a charge for parking, so please be prepared for this.
